Panola College's Hayden James Wins Bareback
Panola College's sophomore Hayden James of Emmett, Idaho won the bareback at the Panola College Rodeo this past weekend hosted by Panola at Bar None Cowboy Church in Tatum, TX.  
 
James, a CNFR qualifier last year, picked up right where he left off by winning and taking the lead in the Southern Region.  
 
Panola had 11 qualify for short go on Saturday night.  Other Panola teammates that scored points on the weekend were:  Trent Tuten, of Okeechobee, FL, finished 2nd in the bareback, White Williams of San Angelo, TX took 4th in the bareback, Tyler Wall of Saint Cloud, FL took 4th in saddlebronc, Tyce Scarber of Tenaha, TX was 5th in tiedown, and Ty Neal of Joaquin, TX took 8th in the steerwrestling.  
 
On the cowgirls side Panola had Liela Klein, of Center, TX took 8th in the barrels, Ella Kate Phillips of Piedmont, SC took 8th in the goat tying, Micah Wallace of Lipan, TX took 9th in the goat tying, and Sage Raymond of Oak Grove, LA took 9th in the breakaway.  
 
The Panola College Rodeo team will travel to Uvalde, Tx to the Southwest Texas Jr. College this weekend for the second rodeo of the Southern Region Rodeo circuit.
