Panola College Volleyball hosted #9 ranked Trinity Valley in a battle tested five set thriller. The Fillies fought long and hard until the very end, but eventually came up short (23-25, 25-22, 23-25, 25-19, 16-18).

The Fillies were led on offense by Alejandra Villarreal and Ana Paula Villarreal. Alejandra collected a double-double with 13 kills, 11 digs and one ace. Ana Paula had a career high 13 kills and five digs, with a hitting efficiency of .292 for the night.

Blessed Omamurhe also had a huge night for the Fillies with a career high 11 kills and 3 solo blocks, with a hitting efficiency of .435. Isabella Padilla collected a double-double tallying a season high 38 assist, career high 17 digs and two aces.

The Fillies were led in the back court by sophomore libero Laura Weatherford who had a career high of 18 digs, six assists and one ace. 

The Fillies will be on the road for their next conference match on Monday, September 16th against Lee College at 6 pm in Baytown, TX.
