BRENHAM, Texas — The Panola College Fillies volleyball team are gearing up for postseason play as they head to the Region XIV Tournament, hosted at Blinn College in Brenham, Texas, beginning Thursday, November 7th.

Panola enters the tournament as the No. 4 seed and will take the court in the tournament's third match on Friday, November 7th, at 3:30 p.m., facing the winner of Navarro College (No. 5) vs. Coastal Bend College (No. 8).  The winner of the third match will face Trinity Valley Community College on Saturday at 11 am.

The Fillies’ regular season was marked by highs and lows, but the team has remained resilient and focused, using every challenge as preparation for this moment. With the postseason underway, the slate is clean — and the Fillies are ready to compete with the mindset that everyone is now 0–0.

“We’ve been through a lot this year, but those experiences have prepared us for this part of the season,” said the coaching staff. “It has been a battle during conference play but our focus now is playing our best volleyball when it matters most.  We know that region XIV is extremely competitive and anything can happen at our tournament and that is something we will continue to focus on during this week of practice," said head coach Nicole McCray.

The Fillies are set to bring their determination and energy to Brenham as they fight for a spot in the national tournament.
